Ingredients

1 ½ cups white rice
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. butter
1 cup milk
1 cup whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 packet Tropical Paradise Dip & Dessert Mix
2 tsp. cinnamon
¾ cup raisins

Instructions

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil, then stir in rice, salt and butter and allow the water to just return to a boil. Then quickly reduce the heat, cover the pot, and keep the water and rice at a low simmer. You want the top of the liquid to be bubbling gently, but not at a full boil. Simmer for 18 minutes then add milk, whipping cream, vanilla, Tropical Paradise Dip & Dessert Mix, cinnamon and raisins. Simmer gently for 20 minutes, adding more cream or milk to reach your desired consistency. Serve warm with a sprinkling of cinnamon. Leftover pudding can be reheated in the microwave.

Time saver tip: If you are serving rice with a meal, cook extra and use that to prepare your rice pudding.
